We are perfectionists at ISTI
From the moment thousands of pounds of raw steel is delivered to our facility to initiate a project, to the final plant assembly on the project site, our process is driven by our team’s unsurpassed attention to detail. ISTI’s quality standards exceed any governing codes or standards, allow ease of integration of any client specification requirements, and result in expert workmanship designed to last.
From shop to field, we employ inspectors that specialize in every discipline of the fabrication and installation process, ensuring perfection at every turn. Each ISTI inspector has a dedicated computer terminal, is competent in numerous industry-related programs, receives continuing education in several disciplines including visual testing and inspection, film interpretation, dye penetrant testing and is certified as a level II in VT and RT. A daily log is utilized on every weld made in our five shops, providing the current real-time status of any component within a few hours.
With collaboration, responsiveness, and adaptation in mind, ISTI works closely with clients’ inspectors and maintains a private office for all customer inspectors. Unlike many of our competitors, ISTI’s quality control program does not end when the equipment has left the shop. Our process is tailored to move a project from materials receiving through fit-up, welding, assembly, testing, coating, installation in the field, start-up and commissioning, on time & on budget.
